Excellent stay, ideal location, not far from Salisbury, woke to the smell of fresh bread baking, no cooked breakfast but had everything else, salmon, cheese,ham, hard boiled eggs, yoghurts, home made bread and croissants, even local honey and some home made jams, fresh apple and orange juice, teas coffee and all types of cereals, didn't need anything else. This was all set up before we got up in the morning, fridge was stocked and table laid out, self serve. Owners around if you need anything, lovely couple, the husband was born on the farm, lots of literature about local sites to see on bookcase in kitchen, can even sit outside and enjoy the view, and what a view! Board games and books on shelf. Felt like a visit to family as it was so welcoming but if you wanted to be left alone and isolate yourself you could do that too. Highly recommend, we loved it, they welcome all ages

Deep in the countryside and as quiet as anyone could ever want. A warm and friendly welcome and a delicious breakfast, in spite of Covid restrictions. We have stayed at Lodge Farmhouse before and will certainly do so again.

Equidistant between two visits I had to make I made a booking for this as a stopover. It was friendly, warm, comfortable and quiet. The room was spacious, furniture and fittings were solid and coherent, no cheap tat. Lots of drinks and snacks and the breakfast was enough to set me up for the day. The only minus was the remote location (a plus in other circumstances), the state of the track to get in and out and the idiocy of the local drivers who persist in driving their 4x4s and tractors too fast round bends and in the middle of narrow roads.

Beautiful accommodation in the countryside. Perfect location for visiting Salisbury and the main attractions in the area if you are traveling by car and you are looking for a quiet place to rest. Our room was really nice and spacious, tidy and clean. Private bathroom newly renovated. There is also a beautiful garden with a magnificent view of the fields and hills nearby. Breakfast was really good and generous, cooked at the moment by our host. Both our hosts were very friendly and kind. We definitely had a positive experience.
