I had my wedding at Cambridge Cottage and, as such, needed to use one of their approved caterers for my event. Although it was not my original plan, I am so glad to have found Lodge Catering and Ann! From our first email interaction, I knew Ann was in sync with what I was looking for and what I needed. You will NOT find someone as efficient and on top of things as Ann. Her wealth of experience goes well beyond just catering - I honestly thought about other wedding details that I hadn't considered just because she mentioned them to me. She was also more than accommodating with the particularities of our event; mainly that we would be bringing some typical canapes from our home country, as well as that I was making my own cake and desserts as I love to bake. On the day, she also helped me with adding the finishing touches to my cake (the flowers I wanted to use to decorate the top + putting a figurine of my dog to the side as if he were eating the cake) If you are looking for someone trustworthy, with an incredible work ethic and - of course - delicious food for your event, look no further. Ann - thank you so much for everything!! You're a godsend! <3

Ann Woods. Where to start?! She was fantastic from start to finish. Almost like a second wedding planner, which was great as we were organising a wedding from abroad during the pandemic! We found Ann on the Kew Gardens supplier list and from the start was highly efficient in answering emails (about everything and anything!) and to be honest we just had a good vibe about her, more than any of other caterers we had also contacted. We did a taste test 2 months before the wedding. Ann was very accommodating during this fleeting visit back to the UK, she gave us advice on a array of things at Kew, and was extremely helpful on quantities etc when we were buying our own alcohol for the wedding. On the day Ann was on it! A large proportion of our guests have commented on how lovely the food was and how it was different to the usual wedding brunch. Who knows what magic she deployed to serve perfectly medium rare filet steak to 125 people at the same time! Not only did Ann made sure timings were smooth but even helped the breast feeding guests find a comfy private spot, in which they were hugely grateful! Lodge Catering took the remainders of our alcohol and other wedding items (guest book, table plan etc) back to their headquarters after the wedding and again were highly efficient in arranging for us to collect. Honestly, Ann is great. We felt we were in safe hands throughout the whole wedding journey, and we really really appreciated that. Would use them again for any event and would encourage anyone considering them to go for it.

Lodge catered our wedding at Kew Gardens and we could not have had a better experience. Ann is remarkable and knows just how much advice and direction to give to couples to help them craft a great menu. She also helped us through the day and ran a tight ship to make sure timings were right and transitions were smooth. The chef and wait staff were all so friendly, and we got loads of compliments about the food, especially the canapés, the lamb main and the sausage rolls for late night snack!!

This is an outstanding catering company. We used them for our wedding In Kew Gardens in June and I have to say that Ann and her team surpassed all our expectations. Their attention to detail on everything was exceptional and the food was glorious. Still to this day I do not understand how they created such 5 star michelin style food to 78 people with such little advance preparation time in Kew. All our guests raved about it, many saying it was the best beef fillet that they had ever eaten. It really does not get better than this and I would recommend them to anyone.
