Being Happy
This tribunal should not exist. They are getting paid for nothing. They don’t take complaints seriously and Barry Coley thinks that by upsetting my feelings and dragging time, he will get away with it. Obviously social services are struggling to hear and by revenging again and again for nothing, the only thing they will achieve is nothing. Therefore, I must say that after working closely together with solicitors, school and making for me so difficult to get rid of them for so many years, after fallowing me for so long wherever I went and go and by doing the same thing over and over again and again but expecting different outcome and lots of money, the only outcome they have achieved is nothing. This tribunal is useless as well as social services. Waste of taxpayers money.

These people are not impartial. They are scared of the Local Authority's and they let serious stuff go unaccounted for. Do not bother going to them for help, they will do nothing. Not worth the time or energy. Find another way.

The most governments biased non-biased complaints department, they are in no way a neutral party exceptionally rude response from them saying I am wasting court time with no exclamation why this answer was given or how the system works With the return email saying case closed. I was told by my local council If I was not happy with their response to go to the LSGO complaints procedure which did not help in Anyway don’t waste your time find another route.

Sally Haylor what a joke she did nothing to investigate my complaint against north yorkshire council. Michael King claims all these successes but when you read all the lousy reviews how can you believe anything he days.

Redbridge Council Planning Department took a bribe and approved the demolition of a 3 bedroom house in favour of the development of a block of flats at the end of my garden. 34 residents signed a petition against the development, which breached just about every law in the book. The Ombudsman had very visual and physical evidence - all of the distances of things were completely different to the plans - and yet the Ombudsman rubber stamped the development. This cost me my house of 11 years and to this day the people responsible have never been prosecuted. Unfortunately I'm using this service again at the moment out of desperation in a completely different Borough but I fear history will repeat itself again. There is clearly a top down biased approach to dealing with the Council. What other choice do we have?

UK is a corrupt country. These ombudsman will never go against people in authority, council, police, social worker. If you get a person off the street and make them a council worker they become above the law. Ombudsman will do whatever to cover for the council

Absolutely useless service. My property has experienced surface water flooding 14 times since 1993 and we are in a designated High Risk area for surface water flooding. The watercourse that takes all surface water has had an obstruction in the channel since November 2021. The County Council is the Lead Local Flood Authority refuse to take enforcement action against the landowner to remove the obstruction. So I complained to the Ombudsman due to County Council's service failure and putting my property at increased risk of flooding. The Ombudsman will not even investigate my claim. I question, what is the point in having an Ombudsman?

To put it simply, the councils mischief was quickly brushed under the carpet and rubber-stamped without investigation. It would therefore appear my findings have been disregarded by the oversight. In light of the LGO seemingly having carte blanche to dismiss legitimate complaints of injustice, then I have no choice but to propose a recommendation to parliament that your outfit be decommissioned and disbanded without further delay. The LGO have continually refused to investigate the councils parking misinformation for the last seven years, despite my complaint containing 30-pages of date-stamped evidence. In the published Final Decision, the LGO case officer misquoted and reframed my statements of complaint. And they also omitted my requested remedy of justice - ‘a review of policy’ #22002555 on 13-June-2022. Despite filing a data rectification request and a subsequent appeal, the LGO still refused to amend its misrepresentation of my personal statements for the public record. Please be advised, its been reported to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) along with the corresponding evidence. All things aside, the LGO had a duty to investigate, rather than silencing my statements of complaint, given the parking misinformation in central London affects the general public also. Notwithstanding my complaint evidence fully satisfied the assessment criteria subject to investigation in accordance with section 26(1)(a) of the Local Government Act 1974. Quick update, my Local MP has written on my behalf to the council about its parking misinformation including my refund claim for the resulting parking overcharges.

I've had to re-write a review because for some strange reason my first review wouldn't show, and it was public. I'd give no stars if possible as the LGO have protected the local authority despite providing extensive written evidence of my complaint. The Local Authority are Derby City Council who are arrogant by telling me 'feel free to make a complaint', or 'take it to the Ombudsman'. That's because they know the LGO won't really do anything. The LGO exists under the illusion that you will get justice. You won't, they merely pay lip service and it would be interesting as someone else mentioned, to see how many complaints are upheld by making a Freedom of information request, I feel not many. The LGO and LA don't care what they do to the public, they are all corrupt.
