I decided to dig out my grass as I was tired of all the weeds and cutting it. Ordered a skip and started looking at local DIY stores, for some good quality pebbles. Decided to start comparing prices online and came across LoadsOfStone. I took a chance as I hadn’t heard of the company, but they had the pebbles I wanted at half the price of local stores. Ordered on Monday morning. Requested Thursday or Friday for delivery if possible. Got a call from the courier on Wednesday to say they would be there on Thursday. Driver came who was a decent guy and very helpful. The garden worked out at around 25m squared and the website calculator suggested around 1800kg. I actually bought 1700g due to the bulk bags, and probably could have done with another 100kg so it was spot on! The pebbles were Scottish Pebbles 20-40mm all the pebbles were fine, and no damaged pebbles even at the bottom of the 850kg. No issues at all. I would happily use this company again. Great quality pebbles and a great service.

I ordered 2 bulk bags of 40mm Swale Pebbles and 2 bags of bark chippings to use in landscaping an embankment area of my garden. I found the prices competitive and delivery was within days of ordering. The stones when delivered had a tan silty colour [see first photo] but once washed by a couple of torrential down pours the stones revealed a really great range of colours.[see photo2] The bark chippings were good quality which were spread easily on the bank and it now looks extremely neat and attractive. [see photo 3] In all I am very satisfied with the service and product I received from Loads of Stones

We ordered a large dumpy bag of bark, it was full of stones and pieces of tarmac and completely unfit for purpose. Will need to buy more from somewhere else.

Had my second delivery today the stone is exactly what I wanted and the blue slate is just as good but don't expect the painted type you would buy in a from Tesco it is straight from the screener I'm sure one good rain will wash the dust of Reading other reviews most of the problems seem with delivery companies rather than the Loads of Stone

AVOID at all costs, delivered in the centre of a turn space with no contact to myself, literally metres from empty side parking spaces, no thought, organisation or any common sense.....
