Imagine kicking out a popular Pianist bringing smiles to people's faces for Nothing. Thats LNER security for you. No doubt they are just expressing the misery of travel instead of having some forethought or a bit of fun.

It's ok on regular conditions, but they can not handle any contingency. Poor management. No contingency plan.

May 15th 19:35 Dundee to Leeds: Appalling rude and aggressive staff: I was shouted out to get off the train for bringing a bike on without a bike specific reservation which I didn't realise I needed (and is also free). There were free spaces for the bike, for the entire journey and would not have made any difference but was shouted out by the manager guy to leave as I hadn't book. It made no difference if my bike was there or not, I was also threatened to be fined £400 a min for delaying the train which arrived late. They were willing to be charged about £1200 rather than letting me bring a bike on and using a free service which I didn't book. Serious power trip for the old angry white guy a pathetic way to act.

What a pleasant surprise. After jumping on a train going g completely the wrong direction, the staff were more than helpful and solving the problem, gave me a free coffee, phoned a colleague on a southbound train, and helped me rectify an issue all of my own making. Amazing customer service. Keep it up!!

More comfortable than Northern trains between Shipley and Leeds. They ought to be able to open more doors at Shipley and allow people to sit in the front carriage.

Seats on the Azuma’s are painfully inadequate for any journey over an hour, how are the MK4 carriage seats so incredibly better yet much older? Sort it out because it’s putting a lot of people off using your trains over any sort of distance.

I didn't think it was possible for every aspect of LNER to be bad. It starts with senior executives that don't know how to manage a train company. There were delays in the morning, so rather than rebook everyone, they instead have a policy to cancel everyone's reservations for the entire day and convert the system to a free-for-all. Once on the train, for those lucky enough to find a seat, everyone is kept in extreme heat in cramped stuffy cabins.

Was about to take the train from the York station. The train got cancelled and I asked the lady standing besides the LNER train at the York station for help politely. She was extremely rude and unfriendly. Really shocked by her attitude. Wow.
