I am the lucky owner of a beautiful wooden boat which resides at Cumberland basin. Recently I was do doing some maintenance on my boat and met Pete Young (Living on the Water Director) who was kind enough to advise me on a few points and also carried out some wood machining for me. I hadn’t seen any of Pete’s work before, so walking into his current project I realised how multi-skilled this guy is. His boat designs are unique and impressive. His attention to detail is second to none as are his joinery skills. He has clearly mastered the art of barge design and build! Congratulations Pete, I am impressed…. Pablo Sanchez
