we visited twice in three weeks , the first time was great , we stayed in our motor home and were given a £5 voucher towards food for each day we visited, we ate here everynight and stayed for drinks. The menu changed over our visit but it was still pleasant. We visited again this weekend and was only told they have stopped the £5 voucher when we arrived. When we checked in the bar was empty and there was a non league match on the television , I was prepared to walk to the very nice coburg that I know would have been showing the match I wanted to watch but I asked if it was possible to turn over, the barman obliged but within a few minutes a very rude man turned over to a third channel that was about to show the West Ham versus Leeds match. I had already bought drink and wasn't going to leave these to find a bar showing the match we were watching, the chap with the remote was not to happy that I asked him why he was turning over and started shouting calm down calm down calm down, I had only ever heard this being used as a joke and wasn't sure if he was lampooning himself with the stereo type behaviour. We finished our drink and left , we never went back in. I gave two stars because of the great location and pehaps we just got the guy on a bad day, the staff member did apologise saying something about the result had a direct bearing on Everton and some relagation battle so maybe this was just a bad day for him. I had spent over £300 on our first visit ion the bar on food and drink and £10.50 this time , We still spent as much only in other bars.

Ten out of ten for offering services to motorhomes who want to stay in the city. Craig was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Facilities were great too. However we were let down a little on the last day as we had saved both our five pound vouchers to use on a breakfast. Being told in that we could not use them both together and the lady on the bar was rather rude about it. It doesn't say on the voucher and on the info given says per meal. This did put a bit of a dampener on our stay and meant we did not get to use our vouchers.
