Lovely young lady called Gemma, was absolutely amazing, went out of her way to help me get a marriage certificate, which I needed for Knowsley registry office. I’ve been divorced 20 years and needed it to prove I say who I am on my degree absolute. Gemma went on and beyond to make sure I got the certificate urgently.

This place is a joke. I've called them four times a day for the last week and a half and hung on for at least 15 minutes each time and never got through. They have a permanent warning that there are long wait times and they're not kidding as once I waited for 45 minutes. Has anybody ever got through on the phone to these clowns? I'd like to call it an appalling service but I can't because I've never spoken to them. Get a grip. People need to use your services during times of stress and your 'respect' warning goes both ways. You're a disgrace!!!!

Disgusting service registered my Mums death on 23/9/21 and told certificate would be in the post the following day. Still not arrived by the 4th October. Had to phone the telephone number 3 times before it was answered I was told my query would be passed to the team concerned. I tried to phone again today 19 /10/21 tobe left holding on 15 mins with no response.and no idea provided as to were you were in the queue. Bereavement is tough enough without having to chase around the houses to get the death certificate. At least expectations could be met by telling the truth over the waiting period

Pauline helped turn quite of a stressful situation into a happy one. She was very helpful and understanding. Thank you for such excellent and professional service. Based on my experience, I can say with confidence that Liverpool Registrar Office is one of the best (if not the best) public service experiences I’ve had in the last 10 years. I will not forget your kindness and your speedy assistance Pauline. Thank you for everything you have done for me and thank you for all you do to make Liverpool a better place to live in. I don’t usually write reviews, but Pauline’s excellent service deserves recognition.
