We absolutely loved our wedding cake from Liverpool Cake Company. We sent some photos to Gaynor for inspiration and she created a beautiful and delicious two-tier cake with 60 cupcakes in different flavours that perfectly matched our theme. I’ve ordered twice from Gaynor and on both occasions the cake & cupcakes were exactly what I asked for… the quality of finish is superb and the taste was amazing! The communication from start to finish was great and emails were replied to within the day. You won’t find better value for money as some prices quoted by other suppliers were extortionate but Gaynor prices are fair!

Pros: The wedding cake that we received was aesthetically exactly what we asked for, and all our guests loved it. The size was a great value for the price. Gaynor was lovely and so communicative. Cons: We didn't actually receive the cake we asked for, it was a completely different filling and sponge, we didn't realise until we cut into it. Overall still happy, would definitely buy another cake from her.

Would give zero stars if possible. Booked months in advance and paid 50% deposit only to be told a few weeks before the event oh I can't drop off your order and you'll have to collect 2 days before as she would be away for the weekend of my event (why book me in then and also when were you going to let me know if I had not contactedyou about delivery address???). Then a week before cancelled on me. Said the reason was covid positive test but would not commit on whether the order would be fulfilled or not. I had no choice but to cancel and buy a ready made cake from patisserie Valerie as obviouslyno time to organise a bespoke cake. I did get my 50% back though. She must have gotten over it pretty quickly tho as was boasting on Instagram about her lovely weekend away (the same weekend that fell on my booking) and the cake she made to take with her!! Dreadful, unprofessional and will be telling everyone I know to steer clear!
