I like the gym at this place. The equipment is decent - proper strides on the cross trainers, proper weights (not rubber bands!) on the resistance machines. Its height gives it a sense of space that means you don't feel too overcrowded. The staff are friendly, though you hardly see them on the gym floor any more. It is less dynamic than it used to be: the "gym challenge" board is still there but hasn't been updated for several years now. One of the paper towel dispensers has recently been removed for no apparent reason; towels regularly run out so reducing the number of dispensers seems illogical. Avoid showers if at all possible. They are so powerful that you almost hurt yourself and use excessive amounts of water. That said, I like it there. Unpretentious and functional with decent enough equipment.

A great little gym, with helpful staff, good opening times and an amazing price. The best priced gym in the area by far with all the machines and equipment you could want. Have been going for a few years and really enjoy it. Yes there are more expensive gyms with fancy equipment and plush fixtures but that won't help your gains :) muscles don't see the scenery they just see the lift.

There was no shop in men’s toilets for three days in a row. Also most of the toilets and vending machines are out of order. Place feels abandoned
