We arrived Friday, check in went smoothly. Room was an ok size especially since we would only be sleeping and showering there. The bed, however, was 2 single mattresses pushed together on a base and it worried me that they'd split during the night. On top of that, my mattress dipped down near the pillow so woke up with a sore neck. We paid for breakfast but wasn't expecting no hot food. White bread and no wholemeal option, crumpets that were out of date and both days my partner and I were left feeling ill after eating it. Staff on Saturday morning were really helpful drying some clothes for me that got wet en route. They dried them and put them into our room but then left the door unlocked so anyone could walk in. We got pulled on this when we arrived back early Saturday evening and reprimanded. One annoying feature was that when the key card was slotted into the slot then it had a tendency to switch itself off along with all the power and upon reinserting it it'd switch the tv on. Yes it's cheap and cheerful with absolutely no frills included so if that's what you're looking for then yes I recommend it. Otherwise, not a chance.
