Awful experience with Ektor. I originally attended an orthodontic consultation for invisalign, however, lingual braces were recommended by him as a better option and I trusted him. Enamel in one of the upper incisors was damaged during bonding. I had to remove the braces after only two days due to major limitations in terms of speaking and chewing that of course he had only superficially mentioned in the counselling session and the following orthodontic report. One essential bit of information that he does not discuss with patients, before getting consent to proceed to fit the braces, is that the composite resin used to bond the braces sticks very tightly to the teeth and will be impossible to remove completely after removal of the braces, without damaging the enamel. In my case, as soon as the braces were removed (and this was not lucrative anymore for him), he basically became totally disinterested and washed his hands off completely. I had to push to arrange a couple of appointments to try and remove the resin and still have not resolved. After two months, I still have composite resin behind all the teeth in the upper arch which is extremely uncomfortable. In my experience (and I am also a doctor), Ektor presents as a good actor but he is definitely unprofessional, does not understand the concept of duty of care to patients and is just interested in money. Besides, he overcharges without any real clinical justification. Do your research well before trusting him. I lost £4000 and got no improvement in my smile and teeth, only damage and stress.

I met Neal by chance at Boots and he went out of way to help me with a horrible toothache in my molar. Booking an appointment was so easy Visited the clinic had the tooth dressed Had a root canal recommended Everything was clearly explained to me, from why the tooth was hurting, to why I needed a root canal. Cost of treatment was very clearly explained and reasonable by private clinic standards After a painless experience the pain actually went away, putting me out of days of misery. 11/10 would travel over 2 hours to this dentist again

Prof. Chong was excellent and very pleasant. I had a root canal and I expected it to be very uncomfortable...but it was not. He talked me through each step and was considerate to give me "breaks" for my jaw to rest. It is pricy, but worth it!

I had a complicated root canal that my own dentist wouldn't touch. So I was sent to Lister House for a consultation mid-November 2020 with the treatment taking place on 27 November. Now I had felt 'farmed out' by my own dentist to Dr Norman Gutkin but he ended up being quite a surprise. He was good humoured and very personable - which was just as well as I was in the chair for around 3.5hrs with my mouth wedged open. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the price was eye-watering for me at £1000 (£800 after my insurance paid the max £200 for such private treatment as not BUPA) - although on balance it was worth it; I didn't want an extraction and wasn't ready for an implant so Norman saved my tooth, which I know is dead but it is there!
