  Fantastic wedding photographer! Lisa was amazing throughout the planning process of a wedding throughout the covid pandemic, meeting us virtually to discuss our ideas and what we wanted from our wedding photographs. She made sure to capture absolutely everything on our list, and more! Our photographs are unreal, super high quality and magazine-worthy shots which managed to capture us and our guests perfectly. Lisa was amazing on the day, friendly and bubbly, skilled at corralling groups and creating lovely formal photos, and even better at capturing non-staged, gorgeous moments which we will keep forever.   We have just celebrated our first year's anniversary so thought I should get round to doing this review. Lisa is such a lovely person. From the first meeting she was focused on getting to know us and what we wanted from a wedding photographer. She made us feel at ease from the start and spent extra time going through everything at an engagement shoot so that the actual weding was more relaxed. Lisa kept in contact with regular communication and updates (especially as we had to postpone twice due to covid), offering advice on anything we needed and really helped the day go without a hitch. The actual photos were also great and I would really recommend Lisa if anyone is looking for a wedding photographer.

  Lisa is incredible! We had some advice before we got married by a very good friend to spend a little more on the photo's, videos and rings, as this is what you are left with after the wedding day - apart from your cherished memories. I'm so glad we had Lisa for our wedding photographer, she spent the time to get to know us, to really understand what we wanted. She totally understood that you don't want to be away from your friends and family for longer than needed on our special day and kept the private shoots special but concise. She blended into the background and even got some private snaps of some of our guests, which made lovely Christmas gifts. Lisa has taken photographs at my friends weddings too (a group of 4) and each one of us have never had any regrets. We ended up with so many snaps, and when she asked us to choose our favourite ones for our wedding album - my goodness it was a struggle as we loved them all. We have been married for 9 months now and our weddings photos are cherished, even more so after the loss of my father who I was lucky enough to have walk me down the aisle. The photo's that Lisa took on that day mean even more to us now. We love every single photo that she captured and I think that just shows how incredibly talented she is!!

  Lisa Carpenter is a genius!! She photographed our wedding last year and the results are just stunning! Not only is she a super talented lady, she is the friendliest, smiliest and loveliest person. We were a bit nervous on our engagement shoot as had never really done anything like that before but Lisa quickly put us at ease and so on our wedding day we felt super comfortable with her taking shots. We can’t thank Lisa enough and will be forever grateful for the memories she has captured for us.

  As most people know weddings are expensive and neither of us really like having photos taken of us however we wanted to capture the day in the right way. Within a few minutes of meeting Lisa it was clear that she appreciated what we wanted and was going to do everything she could to help us achieve it. She got to know us, spent time establishing what was important to us and on the day and despite the challenging weather conditions made it all an easy process that captured and didn't dominate the day, by the end we were both enjoying having our photos taken at Lisa's direction. We have only seen a couple of preview images but I have no doubt that the results will be stunning. Lisa thanks for your contribution to our day, it wouldn't have been the same without having you involved.

  Lisa was an absolutely fantastic photographer! The photos were one of the most important elements of the day for me and she nailed it! She had done a friends wedding and I saw the photos on FB and no other style stood out like hers. The first time we spoke on the phone I knew she would do a fab job, she made us feel so relaxed and was so much fun to have around on the morning and day of the wedding. When we got our photos back the exceeded expectations, we (and our guests) all loved them! Thanks Lisa!

  We were married in Las Vegas on the cheap and for our UK reception, we really wanted some high quality photos as we only had a few basic ones at the chapel. I heard about Lisa Carpenter after hearing a recommendation from a fellow bride who had chosen her to photograph her wedding. Those photos were featured in Rock n Roll Bride Magazine and they absolutely blew me away. I emailed Lisa and she really understood what we wanted, As we were already married, we didn't need an engagement shoot so we didn't meet until the day of the Reception. That didn't bother me in the least as she was so good at communicating by email and finding out all about us and what we like, even looking at our wedding photos from Vegas so she had an idea of how she wanted her photos to look and weeks before, she had scouted the area of our Reception and found some amazing street art and architecture to feature in the background. On the day, it was like meeting an old friend, she was so organised and was so good at putting us at ease so we were relaxed and happy in front of the camera, I am prone to taking very awkward photos but Lisa made me feel like a superstar. At the Reception, Lisa got some wonderful candid shots of all of our friends and family and it really felt like Lisa wasn't just there as a photographer, she was part of our family, and I lost count of how many people came up to us to say how lovely she was. Lisa was also brilliant at keeping us in the loop about when our photos would be ready (we were so excited, the wait was unbearable!) and gave us a little taste. When they did arrive they were so beautifully presented and we were utterly thrilled with the results. My only problem now is choosing which ones to display at home as there are so many amazing photos to choose from.

  We placed a huge amount of importance on choosing our wedding photographer - it’s the one decision that lives with you long after the day is over, and I’m over the moon that we chose Lisa. The photos were perfect and really reflected our day - this wasn’t by chance, she spent time in the run up understanding the kind of vibe we were going for and totally nailed it. She is a wonderful, warm and very cool lady and on the day struck the perfect balance of blending in whilst being at the heart of the action. I love that our shots are just that right side of quirky and a true record of the best day. Two years later Lisa also captured our son’s early days in a newborn shoot. The best testimonial I can give is the number of friends and family members who have gone on to choose Lisa after seeing our photos: if word of mouth is the best recommendation then this lady is unrivalled! I rarely go to a wedding she’s not shooting these days! As a result, the only photos up in my house are shots that Lisa took, of my friends, family, weddings and babies. I cannot give a more glowing review. We have a shoot lined up with our new baby this summer and I can’t wait to see her work her magic again.
