Service was non existent. Ordered drinks after 15 mins of sitting there then waited 10 mins and still hadn't arrived. I had to go the bar myself to bring them to the table. Food was nice but over priced. Like a lot of Manchester to be fair on that tho. Asked for the bill and to pay and waited for 30 mins for it to come.

Liquor + Burn used to be a five star reliable place for us. However, the new menu is less quality for more money. The Pork quesadilla had hardly any pork and the birria dip with the tacos is barely a teaspoon amount. Birria brothers round the corner tastier and much more generous for the money you pay. It's a shame because used to love this place.

This place has so much potential to serve good food, you really can't go wrong with burritos, tacos and quesadillas but somehow it ended up being below average which is disappointing. The 241 margaritas are priced at £11.50 each and come in a very small glass, so really they are priced at the £5.75 they're worth so bit of a con. I ordered the buttermilk shrimp tacos and immediately regretted it when they arrived, tiny pieces of batter in lots of Lettuce I did not taste any fish whatsoever. But after waiting more than 45mins for our order to arrive and other people being served before us I was going to eat anything tbh. My friend ordered the steak burrito naked, which confused the kitchen and was apparently why our order was delayed... On a positive note they gave us an extra dish of the taco style fries we ordered to make up for it but when we asked for extra sauce when the chips became very dry it never arrived. I've worked in the service industry and I can't understand why staff insist lately on saying there will be a delay on drinks and food because they have big tables in. A Friday night happens every week surely by now you know people like to eat out and there should be enough staff to handle groups of 7 and tables of 2 at the same time...! I don't think I'd recommend going here there are better Mexican food places.

Decent place. Friendly server. Good portion sizes. Beer selection could be better: it's a small bar but even limited options could be better selected. Menu shows chillis for hot and very hot. Food tasted pretty good but I have a stomach condition (not an allergy) that stops me eating spicy food so I selected something with no chillis against it on the menu. It was pretty spicy and my stomach did not respond well.
