Disappointing when I booked in for a colour service to go dark brunette, the stylist took me blonder and wouldn’t issue full refund... she was a lovely girl that admitted her mistake and said she played it too safe and offered a complimentary toner. After I went home and thought about it more I realised that surely to go darker, hair needs to be dyed and not toned so I called the next morning to request it to be dyed and not toned as the original request was to go dark. The new manager I spoke to seemed to not know what to do as we had several calls throughout the day where she needed to ask someone else even though she did confirm she was the manager. After our 7th call and it was only getting more uncomfortable/embarrassing for both parties to which I advised I’d like a refund as I paid £170 & to not get what was requested wouldn’t be acceptable. Now late in the day after several phone calls, manager confirmed they could only offer a complimentary toner and told me if they dyed my hair then it would go green? I also spoke to several other salons in bury st Edmunds who agreed with myself that I needed it dyed and not toned and then asked l&l for a refund/partial refund as I didn’t get what I requested. L&l refused several times for a refund as they thought there was nothing wrong with my hair but I had to keep politely insisting that when a customer asks to go dark brunette and you instead bleach their hair blonder and still pay £170 - this is not right? After probably insisting over 20 times the service was not provided , l&l offered a £50 partial refund and I got my hair done elsewhere by another lovely salon who managed it perfectly and also confirmed they had heard a lot of bad colour stories from l&l. 2 stars as stylist was lovely and hair cut was good but as far as colour services go and how the issue was dealt with by management was pretty poor.

Had my hair coloured and cut a million times by Ashleigh and Jade and they are both amazing! Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my hair now. The salon is gorgeous, the girls and guys working there are super friendly and you even get cocktails 🍸 always feel pampered after my visits!

Had the best service and most gorgeous hair colour done in your Bury St Edmunds salon today. Jade did my hair and was fantastic, my hair looks a million dollars and I feel it too! The girls were lovely and when my car parking ran out one of them offered to go and redo my ticket for me as I had a hair full of foils and it was pouring with rain! Please let the team know how grateful I am! It was my first visit and I was so impressed I now look forward to being a regular customer!! I even had a patch test to get my eyelashes curled done before I left! Top service and a great team, thank you!

Excellent service from the staff at the bury st edmunds branch who hosted the pamper party for my 4 year old daughter and two of her friends- all three of them had an amazing time, the staff were really great and the area had been made to look really special for them. My daughter has asked to go again tomorrow 😂. I would really recommend this to any friends who were looking for something special/a party for their kids. Thank you
