You will not find a GP practice worse than this one. Firstly, you wont be treated in time because there is no simple way for you to get an appointment. Been trying to get an appointment since days. As they suggest, I ring at 8am, for the first 15-20 minutes the call gets disconnected automatically due to the capacity being reached. I finally got through and we were given a face to face appointment at 1pm. While on our way to the surgery, at 12:50 pm, we receive a call from the Nurse (R Parekh) saying that we now don't have to come there and it will be a telephonic appointment. We said we are just 5 mins away and have left work and lunch so that we can be there. We explained it is not comfortable talking about medical conditions while we are in the taxi, so we would rather prefer (especially when we are almost there), that we are seen in person as earlier planned. There was no sense of acknowledgement about the difficulty we faced and the nurse just kept reiterating that we don't need to be there. She then mentioned that she is prescribing antibiotics and we should collect it from the pharmacy soon. We go to the pharmacy but there was nothing there, not on that day nor the next day nor the entire week. So we called the GP again to enquire about the antibiotics prescription, the receptionist says there is no remark from the nurse in the system and nothing has been ordered. She then called the nurse to check and it seems the nurse had completely forgotten about this. She was the most unprofessional, incompetent, inconsiderate, uncompassionate, self centered medical, bully type professional one could come across. Avoid this GP at all costs because the costs and agony you will have by staying with it is much more.

A post of appreciation for Sophie working on the reception team. Had quite a worrying situation involving my mother, had to attend urgent care today, however they have advised there is nothing they can do and that she must see the GP. My mother has been trying to call every single morning since Monday first thing at 08:00am and has not been successful in contacting the GP. I contacted the GP this evening and Sophie has escalated this case for me and assured me that I would be receiving a call back. Sophie is an absolute credit to Linkway Medical Practice, and I would like to highlight her professionalism and customer service. Thank you Sophie, it is very much appreciated.

Only 1 star because I can't give 0 This place is the worst surgery ever seen-it's impossible to book an appointment over the phone as they never answer!!! I'm a diabetic with high blood presure-received a letter from Linkway saying that I need to contact them urgently regarding my blood test results but how can I get in touch with them if working full time and nobody answers the phone?

Been with this practise for about few years now. Never had any issues with this GP practise , receptionists have always been helpful, polite and professional to me whenever I've phoned or spoke directly to them in person , they've sorted and resolved any issues I've had which was only once a minor issue, due to my appointment being booked but was being phoned at the wrong times for it, was sorted that day and I spoke to the doctor on that same day aswell, other than that never had any issue with the GP or receptionists they do a good job. I use the online booking system and phone call to book appointments I'm able to get through, sometimes its a bit of a wait in a que but that is normal everywhere now and it's never been anything too long always been able to get through regardless. The doctors , nurses etc have always been professional and give a good level of care here. Compared to my old GP which was the worst ever practise absolutely dreadful and prolonged my health issues for years, the linkway medical practice is 100x's better I'm really happy I moved to linkway. Whenever I speak to the Drs/nurses here, they listen to me and give me respect as well as listen to my requests and I am not dismissed in what I say or am having issues with health-wise which is what my old practise did . This is why I will continue to stay here.
