A quaint campsite with gorgeous cliff-top views over Robin Hoods Bay. Grass and gravel pitches. It's a short walk from the coast path (3.5 hours to Whitby) and the Cinder track, an old railway line (half hour to Robin Hoods Bay, 2.5 hours to Whitby, and bike friendly). Restrooms: The toilet block is a number of wet rooms, each with a toilet, sink and shower - the showers with proper taps that don't need repeatedly pressing. Outdoor pot washing under cover.

Hi we dont have wifi i have asked google to remove the free wifi bit but it seems to be a problem to do it we are getting a lot of people trying to book groups on as individual bookings we mostly take single couple or single family bookings as we are a small site so please dont do this as you may lose your booking and your money the owners book you in live on and maintain the site so it will be obvious also quick reminder if you dont have a booking and want to see the site please come to reception as if you drive/walk onto site without doing this we wont be able to take a booking from you anyway and our staff will have to stop work to see who you are which is a pain

Just came back from a weekend camping. Owners are very friendly, greeting you and showing you around the site. The facilities are very clean, owners constantly in there cleaning the toilets and the showers. Nice route set out from the site down to the bay. Overall the site and the views are beautiful. 100% will be coming back.

Booked for a short two night stay and will definitely be returning and recommending to others due to beautiful location and lovely facilities. We found it really easy to book and the email communications included clear directions and information for arrival. The man that checked us in was friendly and gave us information about the local area and how to walk to Robin Hood's bay. He took the time to explain the site including water points, rubbish disposal and toilets / showers even though it was raining. We were taken away by the view and liked the fact that the site was sectioned up by rose hedges and we're allowed to choose where to camp rather than given a specific pitch. The walk down to the cinder track is steep and rocky but we'll signposted and easy to navigate even when returning in the dark. Though a light on the gate that leads off the cinder track might be useful as the sign was hard to read. The shower block and washing facilities were well maintained and clean with plenty of room to shower and change and better water pressure and temperature than may sites I have previously stayed at. As some people have mentioned this is situated down a narrow country lane and you have to drive through a working farm. This was no issue for us and completely justifies the strictness on check in / out times and the clear rules about visitors, music, and dogs. As long as you follow these clear and justified rules and instructions I don't see any reason why you would have an issue at this site. After reading other reviews I suspect that this is the main reason some people might have had issues here but we found the person managing the site very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
