If you go in as a retail customer, they aren't interested in serving you or in being helpful or giving you a fair price. If you are after thin sheet steel, go to Middleton panels. I wish I had. I should have learned from my last experience a few years back. ( As I cannot reply to your comment below , here is my response: I did not ask for a refund for part of the order I had to hand cut to get in my van because your staff are unwilling to help with machinery they have. My complaint was about overpricing and attitude towards over the counter customers)

This company takes payment and tells you they can deliver your products at a certain time for you so you can make arrangements. Truth is once you have made payment they deliver when it is convenient for them not you. They tell you what you want to hear on the phone and when they don’t turn up after 2/3 days they blame it on a technical error or the printer isn’t working and offer a refund??? Very disappointing how can anyone run a business using an incompetent company like this . Never again!! Stick to smaller family run businesses which actually care about their customers.

Shockingly poor customer service. I went to the reception desk and waited to be noticed. A woman looked up from 6 metres away without greeting me. I asked to speak to her which she did from 4 metres away. I felt like an inconvenience (perhaps I should have apologised for disturbing her). She took my payment and told me my purchase would be brought out to my car. I went back to make another purchase (god knows why). Different woman. Again no greeting, can I help you etc. She spoke to me from her desk. Took card details...card no...expiry date....security number. Presented paperwork...sign here. I said thank you but did not receive the same courtesy back. When I asked "is that it?" she looked at me blankly. What's worse, I had to explain to her that I did not even get a thank you. I found these women to be surly, offhand and quite frankly, rude. All in all, it was a dismal experience

They wanted £191plus vat for 7 meter length 100x50mm box profile steel Booth and son in Purton by Swindon wanted £45 plus vat the EXACT SAME STEEL! If any one has any sense at all stay well away
