The process of working with Kate and Kev was seamless from start to finish. Kate responded to our initial enquiry within a day, and Kev cycled over to our place to do a site survey the following weekend. He gave us a thorough explanation of what it would take to refurbish our existing non-functioning fireplace into a working hearth, answered all our questions, and provided us with a quote a day later, with Kate answering all our follow-up questions quickly and comprehensively over e-mail. Installation took place over two days, with Kev helping us to select a stove appropriate to the space during the week between the prep and set-up days. We're thrilled with the end result and are looking forward to putting our wood-burner to more frequent use as the weather gets colder.

They also offer a follow up cleaning/chimney sweeping service at a very reasonable rate. I had specific requirements about my surround which I wanted rendered with curves edges and they executed my request to perfection.

Kev installed my stove earlier this year, and I absolutely love it. Both he and Kate were a pleasure to work with. They responded quickly to queries and requests, were happy to make suggestions and provided sound advice to me. Kev also went above and beyond by replastering the exterior of the chimney breast and making good of the internal parts. He cleaned up the original slate hearth, making it look good as new. In addition, he installed cowls on the chimneys on the same day, even though this had not been accounted for ahead of the stove installation. I can't recommend Like Logs enough. Really excellent, honest and professional people. Many thanks Kate and Kev!
