Lightwoods Travesty! Came to quote for work. Was polite and later sent me dates to start work At last minute Mike was delayed due to weather Then made last minute excuses of finishing other work which had never been mentioned Totally disappointed with service as I had driven back from a Valentine's weekend 250 miles to meet Mike on the dates arranged!! Totally unreliable. Would not speak to explain on phone and only texted to say sorry for inconvenience - disgusting service And I'm not an habitual moaner. If you look at my history of 12 Google reviews. This is the first time I've ever put anything negative! 're your response There was never any mention of workload. You had been to quote and given me Tues and Wed 15 & 16 Feb 2022 as start days. I explained that I was driving back from Cornwall 250miles to attend. After I had arrived you at the last minute delayed by one day due to weather Then at 8.30 on the 2nd proposed start day this morning you suddenly started talking about workload. You should not have agreed to do the work and the dates when you knew I had to drive such a distance to meet you. It smacks of you deciding to take on an alternative job at the last minute. Which is not on and is terrible service. I should be chasing you for compensation for pay for the day wasted driving from Cornwall and £100 on fuel.

I cannot rate Lightwoods Tree Surgery enough. Very good standard of work. Extremely helpful and provides good honest advice. Had three huge conifers removed. Brambles full height of garage for myself and 2 neighbours cut down and cleared. Also broken post and gates between shared alley repaired and new fence panel put up. Highly recommended for a variety of gardening services.

Left work early to make sure I was home for agreed time so they could give me a quote to get work done. Didn't bother to turn up, no call or text to explain why even after 4 days later, would not recommend. Customer service is seriously lacking.
