My son was in Life Works for 28 days in July 2021 at not inconsiderable cost. Although the staff were excellent the administration was appalling. No way of contacting anyone during a whole weekend when I had a historical call from my son. Nobody contacted me until Monday morning - 48 hrs after I had tried to contact them. There was absolutely no follow up after he left even though their website said that he would have access to follow up at other Priory Clinics. No duty of care and I would not recommend it to anyone. I have sent various emails complaining over the past 5 months but I have not had the courtesy of a reply.. In addition my husband wrote to Rebekah Creswell CEO of the Priory Group on 6 January and has not even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement let alone a detailed response.

A truly wonderful experience that saves lives and changes lives. The staff are all empathetic, sympathetic and utterly professional. LW certainly changed my life and probably saved it. I have met friends for live as well. It is a safe space with all the guidance and support required to face up to address addictions and provides the basis and tools to help you overcome them and grow as a person and member of society in an honest caring and spiritual environment. I have no hesitation what so ever in recommending Life Works as an exemplary treatment centre. Good food and facilities as well!

Lifeworks has honestly saved my life. I have never felt so safe, as I did in The Grange. After suffering from an eating disorder for 20 years, I was able to regain stability in my eating, whilst being able to access support from an incredible clinical, therapeutic, nursing and support teams. All therapists are extremely experienced, and where there will always be difficulties in treatment, if you have motivation to get better- they will nurture and support that. The nursing team were very caring and supportive and helped me regain control over my panic attacks which had become debilitating. Every single HCA is amazing and genuinely cares- they gave 24h support if you asked for it. I’ve met so many close friends from lifeworks, which I will treasure forever. After trying a lot of services in London and surrounding areas, lifeworks provided the most nurturing and supportive environment of them all. I’m now able to move forward into step down care with a solid foundation, I can’t thank the lifeworks team enough for giving me my life back.
