I was married in this church 51 years ago, my daughter 24 years ago, lots of my cousins were also married here, my parents and brothers ashes are buried in the garden of remembrance round the back of the church. We went to the church on Good Friday and met Steve the new vicar. The church looks so different inside now there are no pews, there is a voluntary work party that's tidying up the graves and grounds and doing a great job. I was surprised reading a previous comment someone had written they didn't like the fact that the church had a graveyard most churches had graveyards attached to them years ago.

It's a good Church, has a 10am "traditional" service and a 11am "contemporary" service. It belongs to a brand spanking new chain of Churches, affiliated to Holy Trinity Brompton called SAINT. I've spoken to Nate a couple of times, he's a Northern Irishman who's on his way towards ordination with the CofE. Buses pass right in front of it. It's close to shops and to 2 small supermarkets and to Leyton Orient FC. 1 thing I don't like about it is that it's surrounded by a graveyard.
