I am writing this review with a heavy heart, a significantly lighter wallet, and a lingering sense of disbelief at the disappointing level of service provided by Lexus. I expected Lexus associated with high-quality service, products, and customer engagement. Sadly, my recent experiences have been in stark contrast to these expectations. Firstly, Lexus sold me a vehicle that was not compliant with Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) regulations, a vital detail they had not made clear on their website. This has cost me dearly, as I was hit with no less than eight penalty tickets from Transport for London (TFL), a consequence that could have been easily avoided with transparent and accurate information. Furthermore, I was dismayed to discover that the vehicle was defective with a broken driver seat, another matter that was conveniently neglected during my dealings with Lexus. When you invest in a product from such a well-respected brand, it is reasonable to expect a car that is in optimal condition. Upon encountering these issues, I exercised my consumer rights by requesting a full refund within the legal timeframe, given that the car was defective and the ULEZ status was not adequately disclosed. Regrettably, the response from Lexus was disheartening. They refused to refund the full price of the vehicle within the 14 days of my request, as required by law. Further adding to the disappointment, Lexus offered to buy back the car at around 15% discount within one week. This left me with no choice but to accept the offer, as I could not afford the continuous fines from TFL or to bear the cost of repairing a car that should not have been defective in the first place. My experience with Lexus has been, quite frankly, disheartening. The poor quality of the product and the subpar service has made me lose faith in a brand that I once held in high esteem. I would strongly advise against purchasing from this dealership, as the lack of transparency, questionable sales tactics, and disregard for customer satisfaction have been truly shocking. I sincerely hope that my experience serves as a warning to others, preventing them from undergoing the same frustrations and financial losses I have endured. As a consumer, you deserve better.
