Best chippy in town. Anyone who has given it a 1* needs to to sort their taste buds out. Food is always hot and fresh and staff are always polite. Food is all cooked in Veg oil and there is no cross contamination which makes it suitable for a halal diet!

This place really has changed my mind about British food. The fish and chips is made perfectly. Fat nice chips and fish with a tasteful batter and cooked in clean oil. The service is quick and I absolutely love their style. It is run by a family who are almost always busy when I am there. The owners have trained the staff as best as possible. The price has gone quite high now but I dont blame them as the government ain't supporting these local businesses who are fighting to the their last ounce of might just to survive. Would absolutely recommend if you are in the town centre for a quick bite or even a heavy meal.

Incredibly disappointed and angry about my order today, ordered from here for my mother (who has an eating disorder) for her tea as a treat, ordered scallops and peas separate got it in the same tray so it was full of grease and it was soggy. It was inedible to her and she now doesn't have anything for tea as it was the only meal she could stomach today. She now refuses to eat at all and it has now caused tension as I bought it. Considering never going back.

We gave them a second chance of redemption after they nearly killed us with a bone the size of a 4" blade. They offered to replace the meal when we called next, only to send cold food, an hour late and the bits I was looking forward to the most, missing! Though charged for! Called again to be told they have charged me, but are too busy to bring said items back and will discount the next order. There won't be a next order! Im not confident that the 3rd time I'll be lucky. Binned all of the food as it was sub standard, cold and I was too upset to look at it after going back a second time. More fool me.
