Spent a brilliant few hours on the island with Lisa teaching me all the basics of letterpress printing. Loads of tips and easier ways of working which will make my life a heck of a lot easier. Lisa is highly knowledgeable, a great teacher and good fun, this makes the perfect combination to while away a few hours putting ink on paper. Brilliant day and highly recommended to learners and improvers in the letterpress world. Will be back soon!

I recently purchased an Arab press and having no knowledge of how to letterpress print I booked a full day workshop with Lisa at Letterpress Design. She did not disappoint! I travelled from London to her Isle of Wight studio (and surprisingly the cost of travel was very low!). The day was more than what I could have expected. Lisa has over 25 years experience of letterpress printing and is fantastic at what she does. She is a great teacher and taught me all that I needed to know in order to get my press up and running. We also covered health and safety, how to mix inks, how to set up your design to make a polymer plate and then how to get a good print. Lisa also advised me what supplies I would need for my press and for letterpress printing. I now order all my supplies from her sister company - Lyme Bay Press. Which is awesome as she sells everything you need worldwide! I cannot recommend this workshop enough and Lisa too! Not only did I walk away from the workshop feeling very knowledgeable about the process of letterpress printing but I also felt confident enough to put my press to work. I have also gained a friend in the letterpress world and Lisa is so kind enough to be at the end of the phone whenever I have questions! I am so happy with my printing results and finding myself wanting to letterpress everything. Thank you so much Lisa :). If you are looking to get into letterpress printing for whatever reason make sure you book onto one of her workshops!
