FAQ
What is the signature dish or specialty of your Basque restaurant?
Our signature dish is the Txuleton steak, which is a thick and juicy ribeye cut that is cooked over an open flame. We also specialize in pintxos, which are small bites typically served on bread and skewered with a toothpick.Do you offer vegetarian or gluten-free options on your menu?
Yes, we offer a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options on our menu. Some of our popular vegetarian dishes include stuffed piquillo peppers and mushroom croquettes. Our gluten-free options include grilled octopus and sautéed prawns. How do you ensure the authenticity of Basque cuisine in your restaurant?
We work with suppliers who provide us with high-quality Basque ingredients such as Idiazabal cheese and Basque peppers. Our chefs have also trained in Basque Country and bring their knowledge and expertise to the kitchen. We strive to stay true to the traditional techniques and flavors of Basque cuisine.Do you have a happy hour or any special promotions for small plates?
Yes, we offer a daily happy hour from 5pm to 7pm where guests can enjoy discounted drinks and pintxos. We also have a special promotion on Tuesdays where all of our pintxos are half-price.Can you recommend any specific Basque wines or drinks to complement the food?
We highly recommend trying a Basque cider such as Txopinondo or Isastegi, which pair well with our pintxos. For wine, we suggest trying a Rioja or a Txakoli, which is a crisp and slightly sparkling white wine from the Basque region. Our staff is also knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations based on your taste preferences.Reviews

For a 1 Michelin Restaurant I’ve been disappointed by the quality of the dishes and the service unfortunately. Even though everyone was very friendly, little details as replacing your plates and cutleries for the following dishes is important to avoid the mixed flavours from one dish to another. We asked for sparkling water and been brought still instead. I personally enjoyed the veal tartare but the rest was really average and too rich. The asparagus with hollandaise felt more like a Hollandaise dish with asparagus. The agnolotti was ok but the broth was too salty for my taste and a bit flavourless. The red mullet was ok and I really appreciate the chef replacing the chorizo with courgettes since I don’t eat pork. The dessert, strawberries with brown butter ice cream was random. Within an hour we were done and I think they should slow down between dishes. There are others local restaurants in the neighbourhood that don’t have a Michelin Star but cook in a much simpler way but definitely with more love.

Great place to have an early dinner alone. I had the lamb and it was delicious and unique without trying too hard. Lovely atmosphere with great vinyl being played at a volume that could be listened to or left in the background if you choose (Francoise Hardy and Marlena Shaw were on while I was there). Service was attentive but not overbearing.

Perfect service, as a group of four we were able to sample most of the dishes, all amazing (we all had our favorites). We shared every dish and the pacing was perfect! So special 💗

(Translated by Google) A tavern-style restaurant in East London, the location of the store is relatively compact, and the overall is a bit noisy. The dishes are all in small portions, which are suitable for a table to share with everyone. There are some innovative combinations of dishes. I love that the menu is different every day. Cocktails are also good. The overall cost performance is quite high, it is worth a visit (Original)
