Construction works starts at 8am and it's loud. Room was clean, and bed comfy small issue that 2 of our power sockets did not work (when there are not that many and everything needs charging this is a problem!) Everything was ok not good, or great but good enough. Except the building site noise that was not ok.

I stayed at this hotel last year when the weather was extremely hot. The rooms AC did not work. We were brought a really loud fan that kept us awake. Baring in mind we booked this two night stay as a getaway to support our mental health. We were promised a free night by the manager. After trying to organise this and being sent from pillar to post we gave up. They even said they were “fully booked” when I went to book, lo and behold there were rooms. This did nothing for my mental health if anything it exacerbated it by trying to get what was owed to us. They lied. Told us to go from person to another. I’ve stayed at many hotels, the customer service by far has been the WORST. I’m so upset to this day we didn’t get our couple of days of wellness. Awful, simply awful.

Staff are lovely and very attentive- they let me store my bags here despite not being a paying guest and went above and beyond the levels of service which was really appreciated. Good access to Town centre and Junction station. I would definitely stay here when in Watford.

Convenient location, recently refurbished accommodations. We took two interconnecting rooms - rather small/tight. Good offsite (affordable) parking. Very close to High Street in Watford with good resturant options!
