I really like the food at Leon, and it's nice to see them outside of London now. But this one was a little disappointing. The food was absolutely fine, and the wait time was short. The issue was that the tables were dirty and the bins were overflowing despite the place being pretty quiet. I maybe caught it just after a rush? It won't stop me going again, but I might consider just going to the drive thru next time.

I was pleasantly surprised that we could eat in at this branch, as it's apparently Leon's first drive through. You order on touchscreens, so the staff don't have to bother with the likes of me. It's fine; large Android tablet which is pretty easy to use. Sat down at a table, and it was clear they don't clean the tables very often; the ones next to us had empties and crumbs all over them. Combine that with the state of the toilets, and you wonder what the kitchen hygiene is like, given the public-facing elements are so in need of a clean. The food came and it was fine. We had a chicken aioli box and a vegan burger. They were tasty and filling enough, even if the fries were a bit on the chilly side. When we did deal with the staff, in fairness, they were friendly and polite. They just need to wipe down the surfaces more, to get a good score. I felt bad scoring the atmosphere a 2. You don't really expect much from a drive through. But Google did ask... Conclusion is, if they clean the bogs and surfaces a bit more, I can recommend this place, because the staff are nice to deal with, the food is reasonably priced and it's tasty. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian and vegan options were present and correct; exactly what you'd expect from Leon.
