Went as a party of 4 at lunchtime on 25-5-23, only using the bar area for food through the week so no table service which isnt easy with elder parents, only saw 2 colleagues 1 behind the bar taking orders and serving the other cleaning, no lime juice for drinks and the meals were not to there usual standard.

Excellent meal. Surf and turf - Sirloin steak, medium rare, perfectly cooked and tender. Garlic Prawns on top also well cooked and tender. Staff very friendly and helpful. The only downside I can think of is that it took some finding, hidden behind a fish and chips restaurant and a premier Inn. Not very well signposted. My satnav found it, but I don't think I would have found it without. It is buried in the depths of an industrial/trading estate. It was lunchtime and very quiet.

Lovely meal at the Millfield. Food was lovely, service was perfect. Very enjoyable meal out with three children. Starters were very tasty , we had cauliflower, garlic mushrooms and chicken all from the set 2/3 course menu. Main courses of veggie burger, burger and smothered chicken were lovely too. Childrens meals went down well with good sized portions.
