Had a birthday gift from my daughter for 2x 1 hour sessions costing £160 for her and myself. The first session was with a lovely guy called John. We made a very small bowl. Taking probably 45 minutes. And then we arranged the 2nd session which turned out to be to paint the bowl. Had anticipated more actual making but hey ho. Anyway, my daughter, an Nhs worker , today she has just tested positive for covid and is unfortunately rather poorly with it. She was informed by the hospital she works for, that she must isolate for 5 days. I immediately contacted Jeni, the owner, to apologise and ask to rearrange only to be told no! I appreciate small businesses have it hard during covid, but this isnt someone with a hangover who couldnt be bothered to go. What a great way to treat our essential workers or any customer for that matter. Would I recommend it, No, at £160 I feel she should of been more flexible. I ordinarily leave exceptional reviews, I always look for the good in people. This time I feel so upset by her reaction that I cant in good conscience give her a good review, and the only reason it was 2 stars was because John was such a nice bloke during our session. Overall highly disappointed.

I've recently finished the evening wheel throwing classes and I couldn't recommend highly enough. Sharon is a brilliant teacher - patient and knowledgeable. The learning environment is laid back and relaxed, but challenging enough that the lessons will fly by. I can't wait to book my next pottery classes

My daughter and I had the first part of our lesson with Jeni today. We are both beginners but she is a wonderful, kind and patient teacher and we both managed to produce a pot to be proud of. Can't wait to have the second lesson to finish them off. I would definately reccomend.

I have a very high pressured job and I was looking for a creative outlet. I am so happy to have found The Lemon Studio, and grateful to spend time with the lovely and talented Jeni. She is a fantastic teacher and makes the whole experience fun and welcoming. She has even inspired me to build my own home pottery studio, and has been so generous with her advice to allow me to do so. The Lemon Studio is a beautiful space to create, in a stunning setting at Dunham Massey. I would highly recommend you give Jeni’s classes a go - there is definitely something for everyone.
