Into my third year studying Wing Chun and the noticeable difference in my technique and confidence has increased dramatically. Everything has been broken down into easy steps that once put together produce a deadly martial art. The teaching has been excellent and the general atmosphere is spot on. As a beginner I felt nothing but support from both Sifu and other students. As well as learning techniques, my fitness has increased over the years making me a better all round martial artist. I have known Sifu Abid Mahmood for over 20 years. He is the most gracious and honest person I have had the pleasure to meet. A very intelligent individual who questions technique and theory and in my opinion is one of the leading authorities in Wing Chun in the UK. An excellent martial artist who has traveled to china and worked with some of the best in the world. Sifu understands wing chun better than most and breaks down difficult concepts into very simple ideas. I really enjoyed my training with him and regard him not as only my sifu but as a true friend.
