Visited in with our 9 year old and her grandparents. Our girl quite enjoyed it but there are some issues which would make us reluctant to visit again. While the rides are fine and the 'Lego-ness' of the place is enjoyable, I think the issues outweigh the good stuff. Firstly, while you expect to be fleeced to some extent while you're in theme park, Legoland Windsor took this to new levels. It's £10 to park at the site, this on top of the sizeable entrance fee. The park is in the sticks so obviously you can't choose to park elsewhere - it's the worst kind of stealth fee. It feels underhand. There are also parts of the park, including features and rides that look tired and are in need of improvement or replacement. The queues for the rides were among the worst I've experienced at a theme park and for some reason the staff (who are polite and helpful) are really slow at getting people off and on - this might be down to hyper cautious training but seems unnecessary. Finally, there are Lego shops darted around the site but all the Lego, including the cool little keyrings, cost more than in any Lego store in the UK, or of course, online. There are far better theme parks in the UK which offer the same or better rides, are cleaner, more efficient and don't rip you off in the same way. Drive a bit further south and go to Paultons Park instead.
