Visited on Sunday 14 May 23, with two grandchildren, aged 5 and 8 years. Had tickets which allowed access until 6pm. Staff polite and welcoming. Disappointed with the laser monster ride closing by 4.30pm. Apparently there was a tannoy announcement, however given the centre was full of adults and children of all ages, not possible to hear this. Nevertheless, if tickets are sold with access up to 6pm…. then rides shouldn’t close before then. In Mini-land the Lego villages towns and cities looked tired, some not illuminated and quite dark, other parts not working. The race track, which used to have battery/electric cars for children to ride, replaced these with plastic toddler cars; the reason being, a staff member advised, was because the battery/electric vehicles kept breaking down? It would have been hoped that these could have been replaced with other battery/electric vehicles, rather than take a cheaper, less appealing option….as majority of child visitors are not toddlers. The children’s drinks, such as Coca Cola in the café were very expensive and the contractor needs to review pricing, given people visit Lego primarily with children…and visiting itself is already expensive. Overall, Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester is looking tired and in need of investment. Making a start with the above feedback would help; however overall, a re-think is, I believe, required if the Lego image is not to be tarnished.

Would have been fun but I heard a female manager start speaking rudely to their staff when the tills were down and blamed it on the employee himself when he radio'd through twice the til was down. She needs to fix her attitude. Vile behaviour.

This is the first time that we've been in term time when they've had workshops on, and we've been going for a few years. It was good! It's better if you go with 2 kids or more adults as then you can go on the rides. You're limited if you're on your own and have 3 kids or more. The 4d cinema experience was good, as was the soft play! A firm favourite is the crazy coupe track and the Lego racing build and track. Would go again!
