Relatively well priced level 2 inspection, quite well communicated and it ended up getting us some money off the asking price. Couple of bits were overdramatic, others overlooked (issue with damproof course was just the patio had been laid a little too high, and couldn't confirm that the cavity was filled because he couldn't see evidence bit even and a layman I could see the filled holes)

Ok - this was obviously a thorough & easily accessible home survey. There were lots of pictures and a detailed breakdown. The big problem we had with this is that there was no one to talk to - the surveyor called once on the morning of the survey and then nothing. The survey itself is also presented as an extended advert to use various legal & general endorsed contractors so it’s really difficult to ascertain what is trustworthy and what is not - all in all we just we wish we’d hired someone we could have talked to
