My daughter has been at Leehurst Swan School for 10 years and every year has been a delight. She is very happy, confident girl and has nothing but wonderful memories of her time at Leehurst. Leehurst is a special school because it is small and nurturing. Being part of Leehurst really is like being part of a big family.

Leehurst Swan is a wonderful school. The teaching is second to none and each child is treated with care and as an individual. My son has hugely benefitted from being at this exceptional school and has received great support throughout his time and I would highly recommend Leehurst Swan.

My son is now nearing the end of year 6 and is staying on to join the secondary at the school, which is an indication of how settled and happy he is at the school. He has been able to grow and develop in all areas of learning, and is always encouraged to speak about his passions with his teachers and to have a go at everything. This is such an important age and it has been such a relief to find a school that embraces a real holistic view of education.

I was unprepared for the difference between Leehurst and other schools, it really is that good! I can’t thank the teachers enough for all they do for me son, he has been happier, more confident and intellectually stimulated since he started at LHS.

I felt compelled to write this after showing prospective parents around Leehurst, the school my boys attend. My oldest has been at the school from year 7, and is now in year 11. My youngest is now in year 5. It was such a privilege to show prospective students and their parents around and it reminded me of the excitement I felt when I had a tour of the school 6 years ago. I loved it then, and going around today reminded me that I have never lost that feeling. The staff are all “a joy” (words pinched from parents on the tour today!). They inspire and care for the children and my sons are both so happy there. The level of pastoral care is exceptional because it is practised by all staff, children can learn as they feel safe and respected. The values of the school are strong and they instil confidence in a happy and caring environment where children can fulfil their potential. I can’t speak highly enough of this school. So pleased we found it.
