Possible treatment option for FND sufferers yet from what I've heard 3 different types of FND possibly exist mine personally was caused from severe migraines spasms and a broken neck which possibly restricted blood flow. I've also a cyst on the brain and chiari malformation and other conditions they use the term incidental finding on an mri yet an FMRI is needed. UPDATE ADDED* Now Alan is treating my elos danlos syndrome. I've had over 100 separate treatments with Alan. Seen Mr Alan Reed for dibilitating muscle spasms daily & Functional Neurological disorder & elos danlos syndrome due to breaking my neck and back in 4 places and multiple ribs fractures. As I went in I was a mess non existent I felt ashamed I dragged myself there. We chatted for a good hour it was slow due to memory blocks he was very patient and gave me time. He then started testing reflexes and could see which parts affected. Every muscle he was checking and noting everything in detail not missing anything. He then gently massaged and stretched and still checked how much movement and flexibility I had. At that moment I realised so much! Alan had actually reduced the tension and was telling me what only I knew about my body. He could see what I've tried explaining for months yet nobody in the hospital could understand. Yet he gently manipulated the muscles more than enough and it became apart of me again. He gave me exercises as he explained in detail which muscle was weak or in constant spasm and this will improve and retrain them in doing what they should be doing. It's as though I was been crushed before meeting Alan Reed. Come the day after I can now feel all my limbs and my body is awake for the first time in years! I've had my faith restored that I will get on top again. He really does know my body more than myself. When I lifted my leg my ankle would turn on the other leg it's as though my body forgot communication same as other parts. For the first time I can see my FND and know that I can retrain proper movement and muscle function. I do believe this will take a while but already for someone in my situation also they would understand all this. I'm seeing Alan weekly for as long as he feels necessary I will do everything he says due to the massive improvements in a short space of time! Several people in this world go unnoticed yet can change lives for the better! Thanks again...I'm still in disbelief and wished I'd met this Osteopathic wonder years ago.
