The staff are all excellent teachers and really friendly. Our little girl started at Ninja Tots in the summer of 2021 and has progressed onto the Leadership course. Her confidence and discipline has come on so well and to see her progress has been fantastic. The seminars and belt graduations we've attended so far have been really well run and well attended. Would highly recommend coming here.

Our now 8 year old son started at AEGIS Leeds north around a year ago, and after months of watching him from the sidelines I joined him on the mat this year. It’s been a great experience so far for both of us; having something structured that both you and your children can tackle together is rare these days, and we both love our classes at AEGIS. The school itself is very well looked after, and very well organised. The instructors are incredible; skilled, passionate and driven. They maintain strict discipline but with a kindness and respect for all students regardless of ability that really motivates you to progress and inspires confidence in your efforts in class. Our son, on top of improving his fitness, co-ordination and skill set, has developed a level of confidence that is a credit to this school, and even in a few short months I feel a benefit in a lot of ways. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend AEGIS Leeds north to anyone looking to involve themselves or their family in martial arts.

This place is fantastic. My son (8) has been attending this martial arts center for nearly 2 years now. He really enjoys the fitness aspect of building strength and learning new skills but it is his confidence that I'm enjoying watch grow. The instructors are always friendly and professional. I would recommend the class to anyone young or old.

I cannot praise this academy or the instructors highly enough. When our son joined 8 years ago he flourished under the excellent tutelage here, it not only improved his confidence but his ability to concentrate and really engage with the class. Years later when our daughter was old enough I made the decision to join with her and it was quite simply the best thing I’ve done in years. The instructors are supportive, encouraging and not afraid to try anything which leads to a positive and ‘have a go’ atmosphere in class. Everyone is respectful and kind and there is such a feeling of family. Every skill level is catered to and it genuinely doesn’t matter how many times you get it wrong (in my case about 100 times a class!) only that you try again. The classes are also online so that you can practise any aspect of the curriculum in your own time. Additionally there is the Aegis Fitness classes which are an incredible workout. Master Tasker really takes you through your paces and Master Newsome follows this up with range of exercises that leave my body aching until Thursday!
