Excellent scuba club and extremely accommodating to all levels of abilities. I've been a member of this club for three years now and have had nothing but positive experiences. They bent over backwards to get me qualified and were always understanding of my disability. They've helped me develop techniques to cope and overcome the difficulties of my disability, allowing me to dive. They even started a fund raising campaign to get funds for the adapted equipment I needed. It's an understatement to say this club goes the extra mile for its members. The organised holidays have been well planned, affordable and have given me once in a life time memories. The weekly social meetup at the pub every week is laid back and something to look forward to between training and other more intense social events. I would highly recommend this club to anyone.

i joined the club recently, having dived only in warm waters abroad for 10 years. So despite my experience, I really have no experience diving in the UK. I have found members to be friendly and helpful and very safety conscious. This club and the BSAC ethos makes diving affordable, of course there is a trade off with having to use dry suits rather than a 3mm. Nevertheless, if you are contemplating diving in the future abroad I would strongly recommend joining a club like this because there is a tendency to put safety over profit and once you can dive in the UK, diving abroad will be simple and more importantly safer.

I'm biased as I am an instructor here, but I have to say the club works very hard to organised the training for it's students! We welcome both students and the public! Whether you're a beginner or want to progress your diving COME GET INVOLVED!
