I don’t normally leave reviews, however I wanted to save people the pain of booking the hot tub at £70 in mega pod 1. We hired the hot tub alongside the mega pod only to be disappointed by the guests already residing in it upon arrival. A few bugs are to be expected but not a family of wood lice. The hot tub had apparently been cleaned prior to our arrival, (signed the day of arrival on the cleaning register inside the pod) which according to LWF responses to previous reviews includes jet washing and disinfecting but the wood lice had either been missed or very quickly set up home. We emailed, text and sent pictures of the issue but it was made very clear before we had even arrived that the camp site it is unattended and tried to remove them ourselves but there were too many and in between the framework. Should the issue had been resolved during our stay the hot tub now didn’t have the same appeal anyway. My little boy was so upset it was the hot tub he was looking forward to the most. We received a response to our email on the last day of our stay, that the wood lice were a known problem and asking for a convenient time to sort the issue. We were out for the day and would have been too late to resolve it anyway. Lee Wick Farm seems to hide behind its T&Cs instead of doing the decent thing and accept that the tub in mega Pod 1 was not fit to be hired out in its current state. No doubt Robert will respond to this review and again hide behind his T&Cs – stating they need to be given the opportunity to fix the problem and we should have called the number. This number must have been hidden in plain sight. On return home, I got a rather rude email from Robert implying this was my issue and as a gesture of goodwill (only) he would refund £35. £35 has been refunded but it’s not about the money, what ever happened to doing the right thing and looking after your customers? Robert or I will never know if his actions in the resolution has cost LWF more than the £70 he didn’t refund, but I really hope so. I hope these pictures and this note save people the unpleasantness of dealing with Robert and his T&Cs.

Was a complete building site and full of flies Went with a friend and our dogs on the 12th September, it's definitely not dog secure. We had a digger and building site beyond the fence,it was noisy, and not a sign of the luxury you advertise, not even a call to say that there was a building site at the end of the garden Will not return

Had a stay booked here for 2 nights with 2 children and we wont be coming back again You cant check in until 3.30 so you loose half a day there, then the next day, which would of bin our only full day, the power in our pod went out. We had two wait 1st for the maintence team to come out then for a electrician to arrive who was an hour away! We was without power from 8.30am until 12pm, the electrician said he had fixed it went to walk away and then it went off again! This resulted in us having to move all our stuff to another pod so basically we missed out on half a day, we'd had plans to be out early in the morning to visit a few places. Kids wernt happy, they were bored waiting around for hours we were stressed had all out meat and food in the fridge. I felt that we should have received some sort of compensation for all the aggro and for loosing half a day but the communication with them is absolutely awful and another couple staying there agreed communication is really bad as they'd had an incident the night before with police shining lights in there pod. I have emailed the person in charge Rob a few times but havent heard back from him. Its very disappointing we wont be staying here again, once they have your money and youve left they dont care!

We booked very last minute to stay here for our anniversary and we were not disappointed! The communication with the team before we arrived had been brilliant, with clear instructions of how to use everything! The facilities were lovely and we made use of the hot tub, BBQ and fire pit! The Armadilla was cosy, relaxing and well equipped! Overall, we had a perfect little getaway and can’t wait to go back!

Wow. I'm going to start by saying that because our experience was amazing. We had thorough communication when things went wrong (payment wise), clean and peaceful. Although you are very close next to the other glamping huts it wasn't an issue due to the fences around. I couldn't fault it other than the closeness but again wasn't an issue. We loved the hot tub (very relaxing) and the fire pit and bbq we made use of all the areas. It was lovely having breakfast with a view. We went to Derham walk and clacton beach so lots to do around too. Honestly deserves more stars than 5. We stayed in lushna 10, which has bed, shower, toilet and kitchen area. We really connected on this holiday. Thankyou 😊
