    Highly unimpressed. Registered birth of my daughter last Friday. Took 1.5 hours because the registrar didn't know how to put accents above letters. Then told they still couldn't do it and would post 1st class. Nearly a week later and still have not received the certificates via post, having already paid.They clearly need training on how to use the computer systems better. Why not just write out the birth certificate?!?

    Awful. No contact numbers made available either on Google or their website - they really want to make you look for it. Then they don't want to answer the phone. And the website makes it quite clear that they won't attest a declaration of a death that occurred outside Surrey on behalf of another Registrar, even though that's part of their statutory responsibilities. Not impressed. Neither was the other Registrar.
