V bizarre experience.. Booked a table- on arrival was informed by the manager that food service had paused and would be back on in around 15mins. Waited a while then went to the bar inside to order, the guy was v clearly stressed with the workload & greeted us by sternly insisting there was “NO more food for the rest of the day” I explained the lady in grey had said I could come in and order, he v quickly changed his tune apologised and took the order. V negative approach throughout no good vibe, finished by telling us “it’ll be about an hour wait” I made it clear to my brother the food would be ready way quicker and that he was just deflecting on his random behaviour (it came in 10mins). He then served next to us but had no issue or concerns around there being “no food”. I hope I’m wrong but the service from him felt/seemed a little judgemental … overall food was nice, drinks were fine. But feels there’s a certain stereotype to be a respected customer here

Nice to call in here once or twice a season before AFC games to have some decent Neck Oil & a lovely burger!. Nice garden with plenty of seating & friendly staff. Makes a nice change 👌🏻

Very nice place to eat and drink for both day and evening time. We booked a hut in the garden for the Kings Coronationn and had a great time there. The food was great and the staff were all polite, friendly, patient and helpful. Also the food and drinks we ordered came quickly. The fish and chips was lovely. Thanks for the great service.
