I was looking for an online chess tutor as I hadn’t played chess for 30 years, I looked online and found LearnChess, I gave them a call and spoke to a guy called James, he was friendly, inviting and knew a lot about chess, the price was sensible (not like other Chess tutors online) so I booked an online lesson with James on the Friday at 12.00, he was prompt, professional, fun and a very good Tutour. Two years later I’m still having tutoring with James, I’m nothing like the player I was and I now go as Chess Club and play matches against other Chess clubs. Thank you LearnChess.

I would just like to say how exceptional Chess Academy is with my two children, who are learning chess at their school. With school clubs being shut, the lessons were moved online and I was able to see first hand how professional, enthusiastic and patient the teacher (Max) is, and how much fun he brought to the game to keep the children engaged for a full hour each time. I would not hesitate to recommend them, and am looking forward to seeing how the children progress whilst under the Academy’s very capable and expert tuition.

Just brilliant! My 8-year-old daughter is loving the lessons, and I'm even learning a few new things myself! Max is great, really great with our daughter and she looks forward to the sessions each week. Chess can obviously be complex but he manages to lay it all out in a way that she really engages with.
