Simon is a great Bridge teacher for beginners! His teaching is very structural and succint for a rookie just like me. His online class is flexible for me to join from a different location / time zone. In addition, Simon holds supervised bridge playing session in central London once a month. This is great for me to get my hands holding actual cards and to play a dozen of hands with bridge mates!

Simon is a great Bridge teacher and I have thoroughly enjoyed the classes since I started learning in September 2022. I was a complete beginner and a little nervous about starting to play, but I really shouldn't have been. Simon is very patient and leads us through the theory step by step and there is plenty of opportunity to practice the play with fellow class members who are the same standard. I always look forward to my lessons and to catching up with my fellow classmates who are a lovely bunch! If you are thinking about learning to play Bridge my advice would be, don't delay!!

I tried to learn to play bridge years ago but found it all too confusing. A friend recommended Simon's Learn to Play Bridge online lessons. These are well structured with a mix of theory and play and include revision sessions when needed. There is an opportunity to play "in person" once a month. A very different experience to my first attempt at bridge lessons. Recommended.

Simon Woolf is a very patient Bridge teacher . The lessons are very well structured and he sends us notes and videos of the lessons we have done , which are really useful. It’s a great game to learn and Simon is a very pleasant and good teacher . Once a month we get to meet up with our class and play face to face . I would highly recommend his classes .

Simon is a very patient teacher and has a very good method of teaching where he layers up the information week on week allowing time to consolidate when needed. There is a good mix of theory and practice hands but we do some practice hands every week. There is good camaraderie in the group even though we are mostly virtual and there are optional monthly in person evenings. I would recommend Simon to anyone and in fact I have many times!

I started bridge from scratch and have been a regular for 3 years now. The classes are a good mixture of theory and play with hands to practise what just has been explained. This doesn't only help with learning but also makes the play enjoyable. Simon is a good teacher who is happy to go into as little or as much details on certain areas of Bridge as needed for the audience.

I very much enjoyed Simon’s beginners’ bridge course. His lessons are clear, he goes at a good pace for the whole class and he is a patient and supportive teacher. The classes are a good mix of theory and putting that into practice playing hands. I’m looking forward to moving on to the next course

I have been doing lessons online with Simon since last Oct and have really enjoyed his classes. He adds variety to the class by doing a recap on an earlier topic, doing some new theory and then setting up tables for us to play online. Its hard work but very enjoyable
