Nice evening meal but breakfast was terrible with food coming out in dribs and drabs and crockery kept running out. Then the electricity went out and we were never given any sort of apology. Also a group of local young lads were in the Spa when we were there and were loud, vaping and leary. They obviously had previously visited as the receptionist read them a list of rules none of which they seemed to take notice of.

The room we had which was an Executive Double was spacious and modern with a nice modern bathroom and was clean. There was only 1 bottle of water in the fridge which seemed a bit stingy as there was 2 of us. We asked the housekeeping staff for more the 2nd day and they gave us 2 with no problem. As the fridge is in a cupboard is doesn't get very cold. The TV is quite far from the bed when watching so could do with being a bit bigger. 2 of our party had a standard twin and the decor in that was very tired, not very modern, especially the bathroom. Another of our party had a suite, this was very dark with only little spotlights in the sitting area and strange, shallow, upright sofas. Would be far better with a bigger, more comfortable sofa. The breakfast is ok, not really a 4 star experience. Plates , glasses and juice ran out quite regularly. For dinner, we had booked a table in the "Brasserie", however when we arrived it was not what was online, but a conservatory through the pub and a completey different menu. There was no mention of this when it was booked. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco which we discovered wasn't chilled when we picked it up to open it. We asked if it could be replaced with a cold one and were told that there were no more in the fridge, this should have been mentioned when it was brought over. We sent it back as weren't going to pay for warm prosecco! There was also no ice on 2 occasions when we went to the bar and it took ages for some to appear. The bar staff were friendly but seemed to have little knowledge of how to operate a bar. Overall, ok but definitely not operating at the level of a 4 star hotel.

The hotel looks really nice on the pics but in person is completely different. We tried the heating in our room because it wasn’t working, the lady at the reception sent someone to fix it but they didn't fix it, I told them i was ill because the room was cold and the problem was not solved. On breakfast there was no vegetarian sausage. The hotel looks very nice in the photos but in person it looks completely different, the rooms too, when we booked the room the pictures was completely different from what is in person. The spa is really nice and the best part of the hotel. I would like to say thank you to the guy on reception he was really helpful when we arrived in the hotel on Wednesday night he was very polite the best customer service from this hotel.

Had a terrible stay. Left earlier as room requirements were not met and very noisy, zero working tv and zero wifi and not a great room for the price. Spoke to reception manager Paul Chow asking for a refund or even a partial refund or anything as i literally only stopped over for like 4 hours but he refused everything! Nothing was offered at all and he didnt care! Poor staff and communication. Never visiting again!

A absolutely disgraceful, I wouldn’t let my dog stay here. The rooms was dirty and tried, I just couldn’t relax at all. I booked 14 rooms in total and haft of them had issues. Blocked sinks and shower, used dirty towels left on floor, bedroom had not been cleaned, dirty marked bed sheets, dirty toilet, noisy, no cups for coffee at breakfast, serving platters not big enough as constantly waiting for these to be refilled with breakfast items, no bottled water in rooms, ordered lunch served with no napkins food just dumped on table, unacceptable wait for food, hotel tried to charged my credit card 5 times, they made to total mess of booking names for rooms, incorrect room allocated upon arrival I could go on!
