Came across this place by accident. Nestled away in the bustling metropolitan Oval Le Papa Hotel is a hidden gem. The food and drinks were all very good and reasonably priced. Our only quip was regarding our waiter known as 'Jack'. Who on coming over to our table to take our order proceeded to begin to talk about a lady called Emma whom I presume was his girlfriend. He talked at great length about how wonderful she way and how much he loved her whilst my wife and I pretended to listen to be polite. When we interrupted him to ask if we could please just get some menus he brought them over, however he then began to talk over us whilst he ran through what Emma liked most on the menu. Whilst this seemed endearing at first it left us quite scarred and we would really suggest this waiter seek some kind of therapy or he is literally the biggest simp in the world

(Translated by Google) A very cute little hotel with green spaces and suitable for bicycles. They have restaurant service in a very intercultural kitchen. The chef was very close to us and was attentive to all our needs. He listened to us speak in Spanish and immediately brought us some delicious tacos made with the ingredients of some small local shops - Tesco, ALDI, among others. I don't even have a luxury travel dad, but I would recommend this accommodation to anyone! (Original) Un hotelito muy cuco con espacios verdes y apto para bicicletas. Tienen servicio de restaurante en una cocina muy intercultural. La chef fue muy cercana con nosotros y estuvo atenta a todas nuestras necesidades. Nos escuchó hablar en español y en seguida nos trajo unos deliciosos tacos elaborados con los ingredientes de algunos pequeños comercios locales - Tesco, ALDI, entre otros. Yo no tengo ni papa de viajes de lujo, pero este alojamiento se lo recomendaría a cualquiera!

Only stopped by briefly but the staff seemed lovely very down to earth place away from the 'hustle and bustle' of central London but still a stone's throw away . Brought my cargo bike and there was ample parking right outside the door with step free access . Top!

Stunning property with chic Apex Legends decor. The dinner was a delight and the turn down service was appreciated. To my shock and delight, however, Mr Rae was not the only thing scurrying around my bedroom late at night, as I shared my suite with a mouse. I happily took my place among the vermin, soaking up a true London experience - and for only 170 euros a night! I'm more of a rat man but you get what you pay for I suppose. No coffee was offered to me in the morning, but the sight of a lycra-clad Nat was enough to wake me up. Architectural triumph. Culinary delight. Rodential Haven.

I had a brief stay at the Papa Hotel and I have to say, it made a distinctly lasting impression, Jack and Ludo (sounded like Ludo was having a particularly good time) were on spectacular form, and my interaction with Nat was short lived but thoroughly heartwarming. The beer garden had a spectacular ambience and the sofa was supremely comfortable. My one complaint would be the waif of a man who I presume was the janitor, Hamish, sneaking around like a spectre and appearing at the most uncomfortable and unusual times. Whilst I appreciate the charitable nature of the other hosts by employing someone who clearly would struggle to gain employment elsewhere I would caution them on how much they let him and his unusual behaviour become exposed to the guests as I personally found it deeply unsettling. Would probably stay again.

There was no turn down service, but free toothpaste and great curry. The host was very accommodating although very young to be running a hotel- keep up the good work sunny!
