We went for dinner on a Saturday night. There is absolutely no atmosphere as other reviewers describe. People speak in hushed whispers and there is no music. The decor is dated. Our starters had a hair in it and unfourtunately due to the inattentive staff this wasn't rectified until others at the table had finished their starter - a restaurant charging £40 a plate should do better. The scallops were a particular lowpoint, exceptionally bland. The reaction of the staff to us letting them know there was a hair in the food was unpleasant and rude. No apology offered, the plate was snatched away without a word. We left after this. Staff were fairly professional about handling our decision to leave and did not charge for the starter with a hair in it. Choose somewhere else, you will get much more for your money and a far more pleasant environment at other local Michelin starred restaurants.

I have high expectations of this restaurant due to awards presented to this restaurant some years ago, and high valuation by commendators as shown in their website. However, I don't share the same experience. The food is OK and decent, not the finest quality. The servicing staff are nice and helpful. However, they didn't check if we have any allergy at all. Also, they served chef presented tapas with blue cheese and I don't eat blue cheese. The decoration is neat and tidy. I would expect more characters or classy decoration giving relatively higher price point of this restaurant.
