  Avoid at all costs. Currently in the process of taking LDN roofing solutions to court for damages sustained to our property as a result of poor workmanship. They will take on any job, no matter the complexity, despite the lad in charge only having a very basic qualification in tiling and felting, as it turns out. So don’t be taken in by the ‘30 years of experience’ on their website. The boss, Ian, didn’t visit our site until after 3 weeks of ‘work’ and never passed our numerous complaints to the ‘roofers’ on site. Smashed our bespoke skylight on day one (worth £3k) and attempted to replace it with basic laminated window glass - but so inept they cracked it while trying to ‘install’ it. Bent our boiler flue and snapped off the flue terminal - allowing carbon monoxide into our home - and didn’t inform us (we have photo evidence it was them). Even basic things like covering work with tarpaulins was shoddy - I ended up buying and installing my own to prevent rain coming in after one downpour revealed loads of rips and tears in the tarps they were using to keep our home dry. Then there’s the generally poor workmanship, resulting in remedial work from a proper roofer. I could go on. Avoid avoid avoid. One star is far too many.

  Just like the recent reviewer - who had had an unconscionable experience than us - I would like to add my negative review too. We hired LDN to redo our whole roof with insulation and to fix a broken truss. Workmanship/execution was acceptable if slow and with delays. However there are 3 major problems with them: 1: They did not use a funnel to dispose of roof debris where they just chucked it down into a van (they were supposed to provide a skip). This resulted in our elderly neighbours car windows being smashed. They refused to accept responsibility for this - so we took it out of their final payment the cost to repair the damage - although we covered most of the repair. They didn't even fix the truss. 2: The owner is called Ian and has an excuse for everything. Our job was supposed to take around a week this went on for around 3 weeks on and off as they "didn't have supplies or "a delay with XXX", despite booking the job in advance. 3: Finally, they offered a 10yr guarantee on their work, however after chasing constantly for this after 4 months after completion and hearing Ian give us excuse after lie that "it's in the post", "theres no one in the office", "everyone is sick" and "I don't know what's going on" - says the owner! we are now reporting this company. I feel for the person who is taking them to court as I know what it's like to deal with Ian. Avoid them if you want professionalism and honesty. Services: Roof repair, Roof installation

  Had some roof repairs with these guys 3y ago, they were on CheckATrade at the time and seemed reputable. However the work has started failing and a leak has been spotted. I tried calling and leaving numerous messages to have the work reassessed but am being ignored at every turn. I went back to CheckATrade and this company isn't there any more, which probably speaks volumes.

  We had an extremely negative experience with this roofing company which ended up causing extensive damage to our home that cost us thousands of pounds to repair. This resulted in them being suspended from the Confederation of Roofing Contractors and we are now taking them to court. We hired LDN roofing in October 2022 to install a new flat roof on our ground floor kitchen extension because the original roof had a very small leak. We were originally told this job would take them 2-3 days maximum to replace, at a cost of £1,800. This experience ended up taking more than a month (until we fired them, the job was never even close to completed) and caused extensive damage to our home in the process - leaving us with costs in excess of £5,000 to repair all of the damage they had caused, and also making our home unsafe in the process. Damages included: smashing the skylight in the roof on literally their first day on the job which whey never replaced and which cost us £3000 to get professionally replaced and refitted, breaking the external flue off our boiler which meant carbon monoxide was leaking into our home and could have killed us, and not covering the roof with a tarpaulin properly after they ripped the original roof off so that when it rained rain literally poured through the ceiling which resulted in our kitchen ceiling falling down. The roofers never finished the original job, in the end we had to get another company to repair what they had done in addition to hiring emergency gas engineers, glaziers and plasterers to repair all the damage they caused. I would never normally leave a negative review of a business online, this is the first negative review I have ever written, but this experience was not just bad, it was genuinely very traumatising. It has cost us so much money to repair all the damage caused, money that we did not just have to hand and have had to take from savings. It has been incredibly stressful and upsetting and quite frankly just beyond belief how unqualified, unethical and morally bankrupt LDN Roofing Solutions LTD turned out to be. We have been working with the confederation of roofing contractors who have been advising us in this process and have also suspended LDN Roofing’s membership. We are also taking legal advice on recovering some of the money they have cost us and will now be taking them to court but frankly I don’t ever want to speak to them or deal with them again. I wish is that LDN Roofing will sincerely take this feedback on board and make changes to the way the business is run in order to provide a better service for their customers in future - however their attitude towards us does not leave me with any hope of this being the case. My advice to Ian who is the owner of LDN roofing solutions is to prioritise open and honest communication with your customers, particularly with regards to timeframes and when/if your roofers will be attending a job. Furthermore, if mistakes happen and damage is caused, own up to it, and work with the customer to find a solution that everyone is happy with - don’t just ghost them and refuse to take any responsibility like you did to us. I have never been more disgusted by a business as I have by LDN Roofing Solutions LTD and I hope that this detailed review will at least stop other roofing customers from making the same mistake we did by hiring them.   Required shed roof repair. Spoke with the owner (Ian) who ensured our requirements were discussed in detail prior to quote. As an emergency, he sent his team on the same day to repair roof. Very happy with end result. Will definitely recommend LDN Roofing to my friends and family. Alfie and Lewis from the LDN team were proffesional, friendly and efficient.   I contacted LDN when my roof was damaged by the latest storm. A workman came to see me next day and was very helpful, polite and very professional. He explained the damage in detail and his price was very reasonable. Other companies wanted to change me a lot more. The workmen who carried out the work were decent hard working men. I would highly recommend LDN in the future.

  Poor quality service and a wide range of excuses for not providing the service in time. The company is unfamiliar with the concept of punctuality. Blaming the customers for everything is the typical modus operandi. Stay away if you want the job done. The personal attacks by the owner on the people leaving negative comments here are indicative of how they treat their customers. Service: Roof repair
