We specified Lazenby on a new-build house in Derbyshire. Their quality and finish is second to none and were able to accommodate various bespoke details, including stairs, shadow gaps and external landscape elements. They worked with us to incorporate feature joints to tie with the interior architecture. The concrete floor hugely contributes to the success of the building and the non-directional nature of the floor ties the open-plan living spaces together. The decision to install a single and continuous polished concert floor is not a decision one should take lightly. The effect when installed correctly, is simply outstanding. If later on, you have a problem and need to alter or dig it up, then you must bring back the original installers as this can be extremely tricky. Having done just that after four years of my original floor being laid, I am full of praise for the team at Lazenby. Notwithstanding the colour match will never be perfect, the result of this remedial work, as with the original installation, has been outstanding.

We contacted Lazenby initially for a polished concrete floor to a large new kitchen & dining area, flowing through to a hallway and into shower-room. we were so impressed that the project grew originally to then include polished concrete steps leading to another level, as well as an exterior polished concrete terrace. In an effort to make sure things run smoothly there are very good communications from Lazenby prior to installation, eliminating any surprises for either side for the installation itself. They are highly professional at what they do and they carry a great deal of experience with them and throughout the process you certainly feel you are in very capable hands. This extends to the post installation service and follow up. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and we would have no hesitation in recommending Lazenby.

When visiting friends in Hove who had recently spent an absolute fortune on a vast polished concrete floor for their indoor/outdoor seating/barbeque area, I asked them for their single best piece of advice for installing a concrete floor in our home. 'Yes, just don't use idiots...' was the response. They had had an absolute nightmare with their floor installation company (who actually were far from cheapest) and had been left with a huge repair bill for the totally unacceptable, bumpy and damaged floor when they were forced to employ another company to try and sort out the mess. They ended up with a thick layer of varnish over the surface to try and even out the lumps and bumps. This immediately prompted us to do our research, and seek a company that had an excellent reputation for both quality and advice, but most importantly a conscientious attitude and great aftercare, in case we should encounter any problems. From our first contact with Lazenby, the choosing and installation of the floor became one of the most exciting parts of the project. We were totally confident in Lazenby to install a beautiful but practical pool house floor, for a great price and in an exacting timeframe. Each and every member of the team were thoroughly knowledgeable and allowed us the time we needed at the showroom to choose colour and finish, and were on hand whenever we needed advice about the preparation, installation and aftercare of the floor. We cannot thank the team enough for their work, it speaks for itself and is admired by everyone who steps into our pool house. We cannot thank them enough for their assistance on our project and would recommend them without hesitation. We certainly hope to use them again on our next phase of works.
