One of their drivers dangerously undertook a queue of traffic going towards Swinley Road, including my van which the driver nearly hit. When I came alongside them at the Heatherwood roundabout there was a very strong whiff of cannabis coming out of the cab, which would explain the driver's lack of awareness and attitude to risk taking. This is not a company I would do business with. If they take this much care driving their vehicles I can't imagine they take much care loading them, which might explain the reviews below me reporting warped, split or otherwise substandard timber.

Brought a load of pressure treated railway sleepers from Lawsons. Quick to deliver and easy to deal with but at least half of the sleepers are warped to the point they are not even usable. I understand warping is common, particularly in pressure treated wood but one of the sleepers is so twisted you could use it as an airplane propeller and it makes it impossible to work with.

So, I went in to buy a piece of ply. I asked if it could be cut in half for ease of transport. Excuse 1- our cutter is on a weird angle and it will be out by up to 10mm. (So a timber place can't cut wood well, like, half your job team). I said that the roughness of the cut didn't matter and I would cut to proper measurements at home. Excuse 2- our cutter guy has gone home for the day so we can't. (Really, at 1400? The only guy in the place who can cut anything in a timber yard has gone home?) Terrible. Basically timber yards have two jobs. Two sell wood. To cut wood. That's it. They couldn't do either.

Failed to deliver complete order (over 10K) on agreed dates (4 times). No communication, constantly having to chase for updates. Were asked to pay a 25% fee to collect products that were delivered damaged! Do not use!!
