The café was ok, lots of options, but nothing stands out as anything but ok. The location is nice, apart from the scrapheap next to some picnic tables and the smell of sewage didn't help either. I think 3 stars is a fair review.

This is a decent fishery and we caught steadily all day despite the sub zero temperature when we arrived. The guy in the tackle shop was a bit over enthusiastic and came out chasing us to pay before we'd even had chance to set up even though they had barely opened up for the day! There's a nice cafe and clean toilets so no complaints there.

Boring place really. A small effort to make it attractive with a play area and a skatepark, but its a bit of a hopeless effort. The skatepark is way too small to have fun on. Only the weathet when it's nice makes this place appealing
